The circumstances of the accident were that our client was cycling along Station Road, Chingford, when the third party turned from Willow Street directly into our client’s path thereby causing a collision. The third party was prosecuted for Driving Without Due Care and Attention, and the third party was found not guilty. Levenes still considered that our client had a very good chance of succeeding, and we commenced County Court proceedings shortly after the third party has been found not guilty in the Magistrates Court.
