Mrs R was cycling on Pimlico Road on the left-hand side of a Hackney Taxi, when the taxi suddenly stopped at the junction with Bloomfield Terrace.

What happened?

Mrs R was cycling on Pimlico Road on the left-hand side of a Hackney Taxi, when the taxi suddenly stopped at the junction with Bloomfield Terrace. Mrs R continued cycling and as she was proceeding past the junction with Bloomfield Terrace, she saw the Defendant turning her vehicle from Pimlico Road into Bloomfield Terrace. Mrs R applied her brakes in an attempt to avoid a collision, but the Defendant did not stop and a collision occurred. The resultant impact caused the Mrs R to be thrown to the ground and land on the right side of her face.

Court proceedings have been commenced, and the matter has been listed for a Civil Trial in March 2012. If no settlement can be reached, Levenes will be instructing a barrister to represnt our client, and to seek a liability finding on behalf of Mrs R, and to seek a damages award for Mrs R in the region of £13,000 .
